Traditional men's Hanfu comes in a variety of styles. The yi-shang style features a top and a skirt. For example, xuanduan is solemn and is used for important occasions such as sacrifices. The shenyi style has the top and the bottom connected. The curved-front shenyi has a graceful and flowing front, looking elegant and free-spirited; while the straight-front shenyi is simple and generous, which became popular after the Eastern Han Dynasty. The paofu style is warm and comfortable. The round-collar paofu has been popular since the Sui and Tang Dynasties. In addition, there are the elegant Song dynasty Hanfu and the dignified and generous Ming dynasty Hanfu.
