Important Notes

Washing
*Hanfu garments are often delicate, especially those with embroidery. Handwashing is recommended.
*If you prefer to use a washing machine, choose the gentlest cycle and place the Hanfu in a laundry bag for added protection.
*After washing, air-dry indoors in a well-ventilated area.Avoid direct sunlight, as it can cause color fading.
Storage
*Store your Hanfu in breathable garment bags to keep it clean and protected.
*Avoid hanging for long periods, as this can stretch or distort the fabric.
*Instead, gently fold your Hanfu and store it flat or stack it neatly in a storage box or drawer.

Women's Hanfu in the Wei-Jin Period (220-420 AD) is characterized by ethereal elegance and natural unconventionality. Influenced by the metaphysical thought of "transcending conventional ethics to follow nature", it broke away from the rigid forms of the Han Dynasty and pursued a free-spirited and casual expression in clothing.

The core styles include cross-collar Ruqun, front-opening wide-sleeved shirt, and Peizi. The cross-collar Ruqun features a right-overlapping cross collar on the upper Ru, with a loose, floor-length lower skirt that flows gracefully when worn. The front-opening wide-sleeved shirt is mostly made of lightweight fabrics like gauze and silk gauze, presenting a unrestrained silhouette of "loose robes and broad sashes" with wide sleeves like drooping wings. The Peizi is draped over the shoulders, swaying naturally with movements and adding an airy charm.

Fabrics are mainly gauze, silk gauze, and linen, with craftsmanship focusing on the lightness and translucency of the fabrics themselves, abandoning complicated decorations. Colors are mostly plain white, light cyan, light gray, and other elegant tones. Accessories include buyao (tasseled hairpins), jade hairpins, and Peijin (shawls), which overall highlight the reclusive aesthetic of "harmony between man and nature". It is a concrete manifestation of the spiritual pursuit and social culture of noble women in the Wei-Jin Period.

About This Wei Jin Dynasty Hanfu

Material: This Wei-Jin Period women's Hanfu is crafted from soft fabric, skin-friendly as a second layer of skin. It boasts excellent breathability and comfort, with the flowing long skirt exuding a fresh and elegant temperament, perfectly aligning with the Wei-Jin Period’s pursuit of natural and unconventional clothing aesthetics.

Patterns: The neckline and cuffs of the wide-sleeved shirt are edged with the same patterned fabric, creating a symmetrical visual effect. The banbi (half-sleeve jacket) features printed fabric, with its neckline edged with fabric adorned with classical scroll grass patterns, and the cuffs are designed with ruffled edges, adding a touch of liveliness and playfulness to the entire ensemble. The ruqun skirt adopts a pleated design, which is slimming on all body types. The weichang (half-skirt) uses printed fabric, a highlight of this Hanfu and a classic accessory of Wei-Jin Period women's Hanfu, fully embodying the ethereal and unconventional style.

Choice: This Hanfu is available in two colors: green and purple. The ruqun fabric is lightweight, and we thoughtfully provide an inner lining skirt to ensure no concerns about exposure. No matter which color you choose, you can instantly immerse yourself in the clothing elegance and cultural charm of the Wei-Jin Dynasty.
