This is a highly renowned Round Fan from ancient China. Its exquisite design makes it perfect for pairing with Hanfu dress or Qipao (Cheongsam) in daily wear, as well as serving as an elegant prop for dance performances.
1. Chinese Folding fans' Material
The fan has a surface woven from fine bamboo strips. Every single strand is carefully woven in an intricate pattern to give both traditional bamboo weaving and flexibility. A handle carved out of arrow bamboo is smooth and ergonomically shaped to fit comfortably in the hand. The bamboo texture with its subtle ridges and earthy tones lends the fan an earthy appeal.

The first round fan is called "Misty Rain Over Rivers and Hills", Hazy mist suggests gentle harmony in life; thick rain threads indicate nourishing blessings like dew. The pale cyan base highlights imperial yellow motifs as misty rain polishes golden radiance. The tassel sways like drops of rain to wish "misty rain nourishes and blessings endure," as vast mists embrace all and rain nourishes through ink-washed peaks and clouds.
The second round fan is "Tidal Vows" are coiled dragons set amidst emerald clouds and waves. The elongated claws of the dragons grasp at celestial light, and cloud patterns mimic tides. The word tide is related to the cycle of tides and represents the endless ocean. The "Vows" invoke the dragon's good luck (as the bringer of rain in Chinese lore) and the energy of the cloud - waves as hopes for "Fortunes surge like tides." blessings last infinitely." As dragons roam clouds and water, the design suggests celestial grandeur combined with a desire for gentle abundance in life.
The third round fan is "Golden Plum & Bamboo", with gold embroidered plum branches and slim bamboo fronds on an ink-black base. Frozen plums and hollow yet steadfast bamboo are both examples of noble integrity tempered by trials. Golden hue combines regal elegance and wish, with characters as strong as gold, fortune as strong as bamboo, and "Plums herald spring, bamboos bring luck."
The forth round fan is "Lucky Continuum", interlocking blue-green motifs on a pale base resembling the Buddhist treasure of the endless knot. The good fortune - like these interwoven patterns - flows and lasts is embodied in the repeating, looped design. The pale background suggests a peaceful wish: "May luck come to you gently and blessings stay with you forever."

*Avoid hanging for long periods, as this can stretch or distort the fabric.
*Instead, gently fold your Hanfu and store it flat or stack it neatly in a storage box or drawer.
