This is a highly renowned Round Fan from ancient China. Its exquisite design makes it perfect for pairing with Hanfu dress or Qipao (Cheongsam) in daily wear, as well as serving as an elegant prop for dance performances.
1. Chinese Folding fans' Material
The fan has a surface woven from fine bamboo strips. Every single strand is carefully woven in an intricate pattern to give both traditional bamboo weaving and flexibility. A handle carved out of arrow bamboo is smooth and ergonomically shaped to fit comfortably in the hand. The bamboo texture with its subtle ridges and earthy tones lends the fan an earthy appeal.
2. Chinese Folding Fans' Pattern
The first round fan is "Blooming Lotus," the pattern shows pink and white petals with dewdrops, symbolizing purity and peace. "Lotus" (he) homophones "harmony," implying family unity, conveying wishes for "integrity and harmony bringing good luck."
The second round fan is "Pink Peony," the pattern shows a blooming pink peony, symbolizing wealth and auspiciousness. The pink hue adds elegance, conveying wishes for "prosperity and everlasting happiness."
The third round fan is Qionghua (Jade Flower) and has clustered blossoms like Jade plates representing auspiciousness and national peace. The layered petals wish for universal spring and shared prosperity.
The forth round fan is "Pear" (li) homophones "parting," while the flowering scene wishes "a happy family."

*After washing, air-dry indoors in a well-ventilated area.Avoid direct sunlight, as it can cause color fading.
Storage
*Store your Hanfu in breathable garment bags to keep it clean and protected.
*Avoid hanging for long periods, as this can stretch or distort the fabric.
*Instead, gently fold your Hanfu and store it flat or stack it neatly in a storage box or drawer.
